General COnference

WHO CAN ATTEND LOVE IS RED CONFERENCE?

Love is Red is designed for junior high, high school, and college-age students in the age range of 12-29. If you are in student ministry or are the leader of a group of students attending conference, you are invited to attend by registering for Leadership Collective.

Email us at LIRinfo@faithfamilyoh.com for more information.

Non-ministry leaders outside the age range of 12-29 are not permitted to attend this event.

Will childcare be available?

No. While families are extremely important to us, there will not be childcare available during conference, and we are unable to accommodate children.

Please make outside arrangements for childcare if you plan to attend Love Is Red. Anyone under the age of 11 years old will not be permitted into the main sanctuary.  

My child has special/medical needs and wants to attend. Can I or another adult join them?

Yes. Please make arrangements with our staff by contacting us at LIRinfo@faithfamilyoh.com

What kind of security measures do you take to keep an eye on attendees?

We have a security team on the premises throughout conference.

I want to be involved with Love Is Red. How can I sponsor this event?

Can we order conference merchandise before or after Love Is Red?

No. Conference merchandise will only be available during the conference.

Registration

What does the registration/admission ticket cover?

Registration covers admission to all three days of the conference. It does not include meals, transportation, or lodging.

Can a registration be cancelled/refunded, or transferred?

Thank you for understanding that no refunds are available. If a registration needs transferred to a different individual, please contact us at LIRinfo@faithfamilyoh.com

Do I have to register now, or can I pay at the door?

Registration is presale only. Conference tickets will not be sold at the door.

Are there day passes or session passes available?

We recommend that you reserve your place now by registering in full for the conference. Thursday and Friday “evening only” admissions may open closer to the conference, if seating is available.

What airports are nearby?

Akron Canton Airport (CAK) is only two miles from the conference venue. Cleveland Hopkins Airport (CLE) is located 56 miles from the conference venue.

What hotels are nearby, and is there a conference rate?

To help accommodate your visit to Love is Red, a third-party travel agency has arranged room blocks with local hotels that offer special rates for conference attendees. To view what they've put together, click the button below.

Food

Is food included in the price of the conference?

No, but we do offer boxed lunch options for Friday and Saturday. Boxed lunches must be purchased online prior to conference. Select the "Tickets" tab to purchase.

I have a student with a food allergy. What should I do?

With the potential for a wide range of food allergies and dietary needs, we are unable to accommodate special requests for food available at conference. Your student is welcome to bring a packed lunch/dinner. Please refer to our Bag Policy in our Parent Guide on the Resources page for more information.

Do I have to pick my student up during the dinner breaks?

You do not have to pick your student up for the dinner break, however, it’s a 2-3 hour break without food options on-site, so picking them up is recommended.
